Rev. Dr. Leopoldo Sanchez
Leopoldo A. Sanchez M. is professor of systematic theology and the Werner R.H. Krause and Elizabeth Ringger Krause Professor of Hispanic Ministries at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. His research interests include the Holy Spirit, sanctification, Trinitarian theology, theologies of migration, and the intersection of theology and Hispanic cultures. His published works include the T&T Clark Introduction to Spirit Christology (T&T Clark, 2021); Sculptor Spirit (IVP Academic, 2019); and Immigrant Neighbors among Us, co-edited with Danny Carroll (Pickwick, 2015). In 2016, Sanchez was awarded a prestigious Sabbatical Grant for Researchers from The Louisville Institute. Sanchez regularly teaches in the U.S. and abroad. In the community, Sanchez is Principal Double-Bass player with the St. Louis Civic Orchestra.
