Mark Eischer
Mark W. Eischer serves as the Announcer and Senior Producer of the world's longest-running Christian radio broadcast, The Lutheran Hour®. He was born in Frankenmuth, Michigan, and graduated from Concordia University-Chicago. Mark joined the Lutheran Hour Ministries staff in January 1982 and to date has produced more than 1,350 weekly editions of the widely-syndicated program which debuted in 1930 and is now heard on about 1,700 radio stations throughout North America. He also helped to bring Woman to Woman with Phyllis Wallace into national syndication and recorded special Christmas and Easter broadcasts of The Lutheran Hour on location in Jerusalem, Athens, Berlin, and St. Petersburg.
Mr. Eischer is active in his congregation at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Columbia, Illinois, where he currently serves on the Board of Elders. He and his wife Deb have three children and live in Oakville, Missouri.
