James Likens
Rev. James Likens serves as the senior video producer/writer/director for Lutheran Hour Ministries in St. Louis. He was ordained in 1982. He served two parishes in Nebraska and Indiana, and also served as Assistant Executive Director for Special Project at the LCMS headquarters. He has been involved in media communications since he was in high school when he became a television news reporter for a TV station in Oklahoma City. He is the composer/writer of the song God Knew Your Name, used by many pro-life groups across the country. He is married to Mary Mantia-Likens and lives in St. Louis.
